Job summary

Staffmark Group in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to help move products efficiently and maintain an organized warehouse. You will handle incoming shipments, prepare outbound orders, and coordinate with drivers, using Excel for documentation.

The role requires 1–3 years shipping experience (3+ preferred, including shipments to Applied Materials), a high school diploma, and forklift certification if applicable. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of shipping experience required.
• Familiarity with automated shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging materials, labeling requirements, and shipment documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with loading shipments while ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Process shipping transactions and prepare commercial bills of lading and required shipping paperwork.
• Prepare daily driver dispatch logs, including routes, deliveries, and pickups.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day and update routes as schedules change.
• Use automated shipping systems, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
• Ensure packaging and labeling meet customer specifications and shipping procedures.
• Follow work instructions, assist team members, and complete assignments within required timeframes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Use Microsoft Excel to support shipping documentation and daily operations.
• Operate a forklift as needed, if certified.
