Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to help keep our production lines running smoothly in Torrington, CT. This role counts parts, moves pallets, communicates with carriers, and enters data into SAP.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, hands-on warehouse experience, and good computer skills with MS Office. Training on SAP will be provided; a safe, team-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/receiving preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Count parts to monitor inventory records.
• Follow material handling procedures across inventory locations.
• Communicate with carriers and customers.
• Operate forklift and/or hand truck to move pallets.
• Enter data into SAP accurately and timely.
