Job summary

Cartridge Actuated Devices, located in Byram, NJ, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. You will pack and ship parts, distribute them to production, and receive items into correct locations.

The role requires lifting up to 85 pounds, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with data in the FBS system. We offer full-time employment with benefits including vision, medical, dental, PTO and retirement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to use spreadsheet and word-processing programs.
• Strong verbal and listening communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Must be able to lift up to 85 pounds and stand for periods.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational skills and willingness to learn forklift/Hazmat procedures.

Responsibilities

• Package and ship parts according to specifications and packaging.
• Distribute parts to production departments.
• Receive incoming items and allocate to locations.
• Maintain overall organization of parts and packaging materials.
• Alert purchasing for supply replenishment.
• Process data using the company's system (FBS).
• Schedule shipments and prepare shipping documents per DOT/IATA/customer requirements.
• Review CAD drawings for labeling, packaging, and special needs.
• Assist in packaging and counts, reconcile distribution.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Follow CAD policies and ISO9001:2000 requirements.
