Scaled Composites is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate 2/3 in Mojave, CA. The role focuses on unloading/loading shipments, verifying documents, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. 9/80 schedule with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook).
• Ability to operate a forklift, golf cart, and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load shipments with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other carriers.
• Verify deliveries against purchasing and shipping documents.
• Visually inspect packages for damages, discrepancies, or hazardous warnings.
• Verify and notate all required information to complete receiving paperwork.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to rectify discrepancies.
• Process receipts into CostPoint database.
• Scan and file Shipping and Receiving documentation.
• Create and apply Hazmat and Material Traceability labels for applicable products.
• Prepare packages for outbound shipments including packaging and completion of shipping documents in detail.
• Maintain shipping and receiving areas in a clean organized fashion.
