Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC (Aerospace) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate entry of materials into inventory and maintain organized records of shipments and receipts. The role works on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery and requires hands-on coordination of shipping, damaged goods, and returns.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and warehouse experience with forklift, packing, and measuring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; basic math & reading skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard software.
• Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Oversee safe and reliable packaging of outgoing shipments.
• Process items for shipment per guidelines and determine shipping priorities.
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices and orders.
• Review international shipment documentation for compliance.
• Maintain communications with customers and suppliers.
• Record keeping and administrative duties; follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
