Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a company in La Vergne, TN. You will handle incoming and outgoing materials, verify quantities, and support staging for the manufacturing process.

Pay rate is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. A high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to read packing lists and shipping documents are required. Experience in shipping/receiving is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand packing lists, BOMs, and shipping documents.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive materials.
• Match quantity and part numbers to packing lists and purchase orders.
• Locate and stage project material for staging carts.
• Prepare packing lists and process paperwork.
• Pack materials for shipping with weight and dimensions
• Match shipping documents to package for pickup.
