Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager for a metal fabrication operation in Jasper, TN. The role leads daily shipping/receiving activities, ensuring timely freight processing and accurate inventory management, with forklift responsibility and basic Excel use.

The position is full-time, temporary to hire, with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule and hourly pay of $19.00–$21.00 based on experience. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Basic proficiency in Excel.
Forklift operation certification or experience.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Lift 50lbs during workday (in office assessment will be conducted).

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage shipping and receiving operations.
Ensure accurate and timely freight processing.
Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory.
Utilize Excel for basic data entry and reporting.
Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation.
Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
Implement and maintain safety protocols.
