Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Shipper/Receiver II in Tucson, AZ. The role supports shipping and receiving operations, unloading and verifying materials, and preparing goods for shipment to customers and overseas destinations.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in manufacturing, strong organization, basic math, and computer skills for shipping software and online portals. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of shipping/receiving software and online portals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Read and understand packing, marking and shipping instructions.
• Use shipping systems and customer portals to process shipments.
• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Assist in preparing bills of lading and other required forms.
• Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and record keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness of shipping and assembly area and dispose of trash.
• Arrange carrier for shipments and overseas/international shipments.
