Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist II to manage level 1 and level 2 logistics activities in Fort Collins, CO. Responsibilities include processing orders, packing, inventory control, and documentation, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role supports efficient, compliant shipments and cross-functional collaboration. Two levels cover packing, scheduling, and mentoring, with emphasis on continuous improvement, software proficiency, and safe operation of material handling

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Familiarity with shipping software and inventory systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and verify against PO/work/sales orders.
• Prepare and dispatch orders with correct packaging and handling codes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks; keep work area safe.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and partners.
• Train others and support process improvements.
