Job summary

Job Juncture is recruiting for a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Iowa. The role involves verifying outgoing shipments, determining shipment methods, labeling, preparing containers, and moving goods to storage areas. A combination of hands-on shipping experience and basic clerical tasks is required.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience (trainable), and familiarity with SDS/HazCom regulations. Crane experience is a plus and training is provided where noted.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience.
• Knowledge of SDS/HazCom shipping regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or orders.
• Determine shipment methods and apply shipping labels to cartons.
• Prepare and assemble shipping containers and ensure proper sealing.
• Move shipments using forklifts or hand-trucks.
• Monitor packing quality and accuracy against customer orders.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry and filing.
