Job summary

Kent Rubber Supply, a leader in industrial hose, gasket, and seal solutions, seeks a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Grand Rapids facility. You will ensure accurate processing of orders, coordinate freight, and support inventory control to keep the supply chain moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
• ERP or warehouse management systems experience (Tribute TrulinX a plus).
• Knowledge of freight coordination and carrier systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stay physically active.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort incoming and outgoing products with accuracy and on schedule.
• Freight handling, including UPS, LTL, and truck carrier shipments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies and track deliveries.
• Assist with inventory control and reconcile variances.
• Ensure packaging, labeling, and documentation meet requirements.
• Coordinate logistics between Grand Rapids and Norton Shores locations.
• Provide back-up local deliveries with a Kent Rubber vehicle.
• Communicate shipment status with carriers and internal teams.
