Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass Rug Doctor’s written forklift examination prior to hire.
• Ability to become forklift certified under the Company Forklift Certification Policy.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent attention to accuracy and detail; strong math Aptitude.
• Cooperative, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills; flexible under varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pulls stock and assembles merchandise; boxes new equipment for shipment from work orders; marks items with product ID and destination.
• Follows all departmental and company processes and safety procedures; ensures shipment accuracy per order specs.
• Prepares packing slips, manifests, and bills of lading; records shipment activity and packaging details.
• Receives incoming shipments; verifies kind and quantity against purchase orders; updates records.
• Operates power and manual material handling equipment; submits forklift maintenance reports timely.
