Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Receiving Clerk in Salem, VA to support day-to-day material flow in a manufacturing and logistics setting. You will focus on accuracy, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities include filling orders, staging materials, verifying counts and part numbers, pulling parts for loading, and coordinating with line personnel to keep production moving. Shift is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday to Friday; pay is $16.84 to $18.94 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions for accurate order fulfillment.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or similar environment with parts verification and staging.
• Forklift operation training and certification required.
• Comfort using material handling equipment safely in production.
• Reliable and available for additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders and stage materials according to instructions.
• Receive job instructions, verify product, counts, and part numbers.
• Pull parts for loading/unloading to sustain production flow.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift, carts, or Raymond equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with line personnel to replenish parts and move materials to lines.
