Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for a contract role in Racine, WI. 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with minimal OT. You will load/unload trucks, prepare shipments, and support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a physically active environment.

Ideal candidates have sit-down forklift experience, shipping/receiving background, and strong documentation accuracy. This onsite position offers steady long-term opportunity and growth within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Two+ years shipping experience.
• Two+ years packing experience.
• At least 1 year sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Knowledge of material handling and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to safely move and handle heavy materials.
• Experience with inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.
• Prepare, pack, and stage products for shipments.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities.
• Complete shipping/receiving paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Move and organize materials to support production needs.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Build crates, band materials, and secure loads.
• Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform deburring and other material prep tasks as needed.
• Operate overhead cranes when trained and authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
