Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Harlan, IA. The role verifies outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment, and handles related clerical tasks.

Must have 1–2 years in shipping/receiving and familiarity with measurement devices, SDS/HazCom rules, and basic packaging procedures. Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and UPS WorldShip is a plus; training is provided.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience a plus; training provided.
• Overhead crane experience a plus; training provided.
• Experience with measurement devices required.
• Crating or carpentry experience a plus; training provided.
• UPS WorldShip experience a plus.
• Export paperwork experience a plus.
• Understanding SDS/HazCom shipping regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Compares identifying information and counts weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against records.
• Determines the method of shipment.
• Affixes shipping labels or identifies information on cartons.
• Assembles containers and inserts items into them.
• Stamps or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates.
• Counts, weighs, measures, or inspects packaging for conformance.
• Delivers incoming goods to respective departments.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operates lift equipment to move shipments to storage or work area.
• Studies notices and invoices to determine shipping priorities and methods.
• Performs clerical data entry and file keeping related to shipments.
