Job summary

REI Co-op in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to move merchandise, manage inbound and outbound shipments, and support store operations. This is an on-site role that emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

You will collaborate with teammates, perform cycle counts, assist customers, and help maintain an organized warehouse while upholding REI values and a commitment to the outdoor community.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or retail shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Customer service oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive store inventory, transfers, vendor and internal shipments.
• Process customer and product quality returns.
• Direct the flow of replenishment products to the sales floor or backstock.
• Perform recurring cycle counts and audits of targeted inventory.
• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and services.
• Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
