Job summary

REI Co-op is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to scan and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. You will help keep the warehouse organized, assist customers, and collaborate with teams to maintain smooth logistics.

The role emphasizes contributing to a safe, efficient warehouse environment and supporting store operations with accurate receiving, receiving returns, and replenishment processes.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, retail, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Open to feedback and working with others to support the business.
• Uses problem solving and prioritization to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive store inventory, transfers, vendor and internal shipments.
• Process customer and product quality returns.
• Direct the flow of replenishment products to the sales floor or backstock.
• Perform cycle counts and audits of targeted inventory.
• Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and services.
• Follow loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
