Qualifications

• UPS Worldship software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Determine the method of shipment and affix labels or stencils.
• Assemble containers and insert items into containers as needed.
• Stamp or label crates with shipping information and instructions.
• Post weights, shipping charges, and affix postage.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate tier lift truck or hand-truck to move shipments.
• Study notices and orders to determine shipping priorities and methods.
