Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and check in incoming packages and materials for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
• Handle highly sensitive and valuable equipment and materials with appropriate care.
• Enter receiving and shipping information accurately into Deltek Costpoint.
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments using UPS and FedEx.
• Coordinate and prepare larger shipments for freight and LTL carriers.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Scan, organize, and file shipping, receiving, and other supporting documentation.
• Maintain and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets used for shipment tracking and departmental records.
• Transport packages and materials between company buildings and designated locations.
• Deliver packages to customer locations, including NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, as required.
• Communicate with internal employees, customers, carriers, and delivery drivers regarding shipment and delivery status.
• Maintain an organized and safe shipping and receiving work area.
