Job summary

Kokomo Charters is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Eugene, Oregon. The role supports inventory accuracy, quality control, and shipping coordination to keep production moving. The day shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with an urgent start date.

A valid forklift license/experience is required, along with basic math and data-entry skills. You will work closely with supervisors, handle inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure documentation is accurate.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Ability to read English, use SAE and metric tape measures.
• Strong math, writing, and computer data-entry skills.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Understanding of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Knowledge of material specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify quality, and identify incoming materials per procedures.
• Mark, store, and stage materials orderly.
• Maintain and perform physical inventory counts.
• Prepare and verify documentation for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Assemble orders and verify quantities, weights, and specs.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and enter shipment data.
