Industrial Metal Fab is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage incoming materials and outgoing shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will verify orders, operate forklifts and cranes, and help maintain inventory accuracy on a four-day workweek.

The role emphasizes safe material handling, attention to detail, and teamwork. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling (preferred but not required).
• Forklift experience (certification is a plus) and overhead crane experience are a plus.
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents; basic math and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Unload and load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Transport materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Pick, pack, inspect, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and related documentation.
• Verify orders using work orders, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Stage materials for production and shipment; assist with inventory counts.
• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and delivery drivers; maintain clean, safe work areas.
