Job summary

Mancan is partnering with a manufacturing company in Byesville, Ohio to hire a Shipping Associate for a 3rd shift. The role is a temp-to-hire position with competitive compensation and requires a HS diploma.

You will pack, label, and prepare shipments, manage inventory, and coordinate with teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery while maintaining safety standards. Overtime may be required and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Pre-employment drug test and physical assessment may be required.
• Ability to train on 1st shift before moving to 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Packing and labeling products for shipment with accuracy and protection.
• Process incoming orders and prepare shipments in a timely manner.
• Monitor and assist with inventory levels and stock checks.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Conduct quality checks on outbound shipments to meet standards.
• Generate and maintain shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading).
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service to resolve shipping issues.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe workplace.
