Job summary

Arkema Inc in Temecula, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist for 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri) with overtime as needed. The role uses SAP to receive materials, manage inventory, and prepare orders for shipment.

You will maintain accurate records, operate forklifts, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines; a sign-on bonus and Day 1 health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read English and perform basic math.
• Minimum one year of warehousing experience.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications.
• Forklift experience.
• Willingness to work off-shifts and overtime.
• Ability to maintain forklift license and DOT certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SAP to receive raw materials, packaging supplies, purchase finished goods, and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory through double-checking quantities and reporting discrepancies.
• Report spills, damaged product, or any inventory loss immediately.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and environmental regulations.
• Operate forklifts safely and follow plant safety rules.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in warehouse and shipping areas.
• Accurately complete all required documentation.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and EHS regulatory requirements.
• Load trucks for shipment and handle Bill of Lading paperwork.
• Create Production Orders in SAP for manufacturing.
• Perform customer-specific requirements such as labeling.
