• Complete shipping and receiving reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate movement of materials between departments to support daily operations.
• Use email, Excel, and other computer systems to track shipments and manage records.
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment as trained.
• Follow workplace safety requirements when handling heavy materials and around equipment.

Location: Torrance, CA | Payrate: $22/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support a leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure materials and shipments are accurately received, carefully packaged, and delivered where they need to be to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and accurately record deliveries.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material handling.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift more than 30 pounds and perform repetitive material-handling tasks.

• Commitment to following safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience packing, preparing, and processing shipments.

• Computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Excel.

• Previous forklift experience; appropriate certification or authorization as required.

• Familiarity with shipping documentation, inventory records, and receiving procedures.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay Details:

$22.00 per hour
