PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation company to hire a Warehouse Support (Logistics Technician) in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time contract role supports aerospace logistics, inventory control, and shipping operations in a fast-paced environment.

You'll gain hands-on experience with SAP, FedEx Ship Manager, and Label Matrix while ensuring accuracy, safety, and timely deliveries in domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics/shipping experience.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Experience using ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products and materials for shipment to meet delivery schedules.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time Contract (6 Months)

• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift (5/40 Schedule)

• Pay Rate: $25.47 per hour

As a Warehouse Support professional, you'll be an essential part of the logistics operation that keeps aerospace manufacturing and customer deliveries running smoothly. What You'll Do

Shipping & Logistics Operations

• Prepare products and materials for shipment to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.

• Process domestic and international shipments using SAP and customer shipping portals.

• Generate Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) and shipping documentation.

• Create pick tickets and Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for quality review and approval.

• Produce shipping and serial number labels utilizing FedEx Ship Manager and Label Matrix.

• Package and stage materials to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

Inventory & Material Handling

• Stock materials and process work orders to support production and shipping requirements.

• Conduct manual inventory counts and scanning activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Move materials safely throughout the facility using forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.

• Support physical inventory and inventory control initiatives.

Safety & Operational Excellence

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.

• Maintain clean, organized shelves, workstations, pallet locations, and walkways.

• Cross-train across logistics functions to support team success and operational flexibility.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

You Must Have:

• High School Diploma, AA/AS degree, or other two-year post-high school training.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Experience operating or willingness to learn to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager , Label Matrix , or comparable shipping software.

• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse inventory systems.

• Strong process discipline and ability to follow established procedures.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or other regulated industries.

• Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple logistics functions as business needs evolve.
