Responsibilities :

• Process customer orders by pulling correct inventory and marking / labeling and loading / staging in the correction location as noted on the customer order. Follow all sales order special instructions (i.e. Attach C.O.A., Mark With..., Palletize and Wrap, etc...)
• Move inventory into the correct location and record move(s) in the ERP System if necessary.
• Responsible for all of the pail inventory and the cleanliness of the UPS and pail inventory areas.
• Use computer to record moves and process shipping paperwork (i.e. UPS WorldShip, Navision, etc...).
• Determine correct loading process to be used to ensure trailers are loaded in a safe secure manor and all hazardous materials are labeled / placarded and staged to meet DOT 49 CFR 172., for shipment of dangerous goods by Ground or Air.
• Will have a current certified Fork Truck License and be able to use specialized drum handling equipment for the handling of 55-gallon drums, loading of drums onto pallets and securing.
• Reporting and processing data in an ERP system is required, including but not limited to processing and printing shipping documents.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements :

• Must have the ability to periodically lift up to 65-pound pails and position them into cardboard over packs.
• You are required to work in typical non-air conditioned hot / cold warehouse environments.
• This position may have other duties as required.

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule :

• 8-hour shift
• 10 : 00am- 6 : 30pm

Ability to commute / relocate :

• Rockford, IL : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
