Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Salt Lake City to support shipping and receiving operations with strong attention to detail and professional communication. The role involves coordinating driver activity, preparing loads, and maintaining documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The candidate should have 2 years of general office experience, 1 year of customer service, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years of general office experience required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous shipping/receiving clerk experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems highly preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Utilize WMS to audit parts for delivery routes.
• Identify, investigate, and correct route discrepancies.
• Receive and dispatch drivers in a timely manner.
• Prepare, manifest, and dispatch outbound loads correctly.
• Coordinate driver activity with the dock to ensure timely receiving of inbound loads.
• Maintain organized filing system (electronic and paper).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Support general office and warehouse tasks as needed.
