Job summary

Top Echelon LLC in Manchester, CT is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Assistant to ensure accurate, on-time movement of incoming materials and outgoing orders. The role emphasizes organization, reliability, and collaboration with warehouse teams.

You will receive shipments, verify against PO and packing slips, prepare labels and bills of ladings, and keep records up to date in our systems. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or shipping software.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Receive UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments; inspect for damage and verify quantities against POs and packing slips.
• Pack, label, and stage outgoing orders to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Prepare shipping labels and bills of lading; keep inventory and shipment records current in company systems.
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and sales to keep shipments moving on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock and storage area.
