Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Williamsburg, MI. The role involves verifying shipments, unpacking goods, delivering items to multiple locations, and maintaining vendor records. Candidates should be at least 21 with a high school diploma and forklift training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a High School diploma, a GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to pass a Certified Forklift Training Course.
• Knowledge of current accounting software is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase order records.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Delivery of items to various locations.
• Maintain a good relationship with other departments throughout the gaming enterprises.
• Maintain vendor files and delivery sheets.
• Travel for the needs of the business or for further training regarding the department or the business.
• Follow procedures for the return of goods.
• Contact vendors when necessary to verify differences in shipments.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
