Job summary

Island View Casino Resort is seeking a Receiving Clerk to verify quantities received against purchase orders and deliver products to the appropriate departments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Mississippi driver's license, and 21+ years of age.

Experience in shipping/receiving and operating forklifts/pallet jacks is preferred. The position is part-time and on-site at Island View Casino Resort, with duties including handling invoices and paperwork to ensure accurate receiving

Job description

Responsible for verifying quantities received against purchase orders. Delivers the products received to the ordering departments. Handles invoices, packing slips or shipper bills properly. Processes and stamps the paper work and obtains the appropriate signatures.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent and valid Mississippi Driver's license required. Must be 21. Shipping and Receiving experience preferred. Possesses general math skills along with computer skills. Must be able to operate tier forklift, manual and electric pallet jacks and hand trucks to move, convey or hoist shipments to and from receiving platforms. Must be able to lift, push and carry a minimum of 70 lbs and able to work in a fast pace environment.
