Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Lincoln, RI facility. The role supports inbound/outbound shipments, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

You will use ERP and shipping software to process orders, print labels, and ensure compliance with safety and shipping regulations. Forklift certification is preferred and reliable daily attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control, picking, packing, and warehouse processes.
• Ability to use ERP systems and warehouse/distribution systems to manage orders and inventory.
• Experience with UPS Worldship, FedEx Manager, and DHL software for processing shipments.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• Strong communication and attention to detail in documentation and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse and manufacturing facility, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts.
• Package and weigh items according to shipping requirements and company standards.
• Print shipping labels and postage using appropriate shipping software and systems.
• Inspect goods received for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Distribute products to other departments and internal stakeholders in an organized and timely manner.
• Use inventory control practices to establish and maintain high order fulfillment accuracy.
• Follow international shipping regulations and portal requirements when applicable.
• Operate or learn forklift operation in accordance with safety and certification standards.
• Utilize ERP and warehouse systems to process orders and manage inventory data.
