Lakewood Church is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Houston, TX, to manage daily mail, shipments, and inventory flow. You will process incoming/outgoing shipments, maintain records, and support departments with timely delivery.

The role requires physical work, forklift experience preferred, and a commitment to safety and quality service within a church operations environment. Full-time benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipping software.

Responsabilités

• Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, freight, and other shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare goods for shipment with appropriate routes, procedures, and rates.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, packaging, and compliance, including palletized items.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, document, and report shortages or damages to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain shipping/receiving records, daily shipping reports, PO's, packing slips, and related docs.
• Track shipments and respond to inquiries; deliver materials to departments and locations.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following safety procedures.
• Support inventory movement, shipping supply management, and tour logistics.
• Provide dependable service to internal departments and maintain a clean work area.
