Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to manage records of incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating acceptance, delivery, and storage. You will resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance and ensure accurate documentation with carriers and customers.

Occasional travel may be required for business purposes. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year shipping/receiving experience) and familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or minimum 1 year of work experience in shipping and receiving.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience using calculators, desktop computers, and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

• Manage records of shipments by coordinating product acceptance, delivery, and storage.
• Resolve issues related to damages, shortages, and nonconformance, and document accordingly.
• Communicate with carriers and customers to ensure accurate documentation.
• Occasional travel by car or plane may be required for business purposes.
