Job summary

C&Y Global Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist in Dallas, TX. The role requires accurate data entry, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office to process weights, settlements, and inbound material data.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM. Salary ranges from $45K to $70K annually, with DOE. The position supports a fast-growing scrap-metal logistics operation and coordination with suppliers and the shipping team.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in data entry with minimal errors and be detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under high time pressure and maintain quality with minimal supervision.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and record weight of all material entering warehouse.
• Generate and send settlements to all suppliers.
• Enter weight, description, and pictures of inbound material into company database.
• Communicate with suppliers about inbound shipments.
• Communicate with accounting regarding supplier payment.
• Answer supplier concerns as they arise.
• Ensure correct labels are placed on all inbound material.
• Organize and file paperwork in a timely manner.
• Plan containers and perform quality control.
• Prepare packing lists and invoices to customers.
• Coordinate with shipping team (overseas) about outbound materials.
• Assist logistics team to coordinate outbound shipments as needed.
