Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and teamwork.
• Ability to operate equipment used in handling of materials.
• Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel toe boots, goggles, ear plugs, gloves.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize projects and information with accuracy, under tight timeframes, to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Follows all EHS rules and regulations.
• Safely loads and unloads materials onto form pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
• Compares identifying information and counts of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Records receipt of incoming materials and equipment.
• Ensures materials are separated and stored in the appropriate locations or bins.
• Documents and enters inventory information into the computer system.
• Reads and interprets work orders in order to ascertain which materials to pull.
• Moves materials from storage location to work site in accordance with the work order.
• Performs cycle counting and physical inventories.
• Uses steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer or other hand tools to open containers.
