Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the plant, yard, or work site. You will process incoming material, move inventory to the correct area, and assist with parts delivery while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Forklift experience and teamwork are preferred. The role requires physical activity in variable environments; safety and quality come first, with opportunities for growth within a values-driven company.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a team environment, communicate professionally with team members and vendors, clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize projects and information with accurate turnaround under tight timeframes.
• Ability to identify, plan, start, and complete projects or other work that needs to be accomplished.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and tags incoming material
• Moves inventory materials to their respective area
• Delivers parts to areas in the plant where work is in process
• Performs cycle counting and physical inventories as directed
• Maintains forklift trucks in clean, good working order
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to special processes
