Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials within the plant, yard, or work site. This role supports safe and efficient material flow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include receiving and tagging materials, moving inventory, and delivering parts to work areas. Forklift operation and attention to safety are essential as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented with professional communication with teammates and vendors.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage and complete projects from start to finish.
• Warehouse experience and industrial material handling preferred.
• Forklift operation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and tags incoming material.
• Moves inventory materials to their respective area.
• Delivers parts to areas in the plant where work is in process.
• Performs cycle counting and physical inventories as directed.
• Maintains forklift trucks in clean, good working order.
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to special processes.
