Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Door Group in Carol Stream, Illinois, seeks a Shipper to prepare, package, and ship materials and finished products to support manufacturing and customer delivery commitments. You will load/unload trucks, stage materials, and operate material handling equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Ability to lift 5–50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and stage materials.
• Pick, pack, and crate frames and other products for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform quality checks and maintain shipping documentation.
• Organize outbound deliveries using UPS, LTL, TL, and service center trucks.
• Use computers and systems to support shipping processes.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
