Job summary

The Door Group of ASSA ABLOY is expanding and seeking a Shipper to join our team at the Midwest Service Center or regional manufacturing facility in Carol Stream, IL. You will load/unload trucks, pick and pack products, operate forklifts, and ensure shipping docs are accurate to support timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include quality checks, organizing outbound shipments, and using computer systems to support processes, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Ability to lift 5–50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and stage materials.
• Pick, pack, and crate frames and other products for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Organize outbound deliveries using UPS, LTL, TL, and service center trucks.
• Use computers and systems to support shipping processes.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
