Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Boise is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Shop Assistant for a small industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves shipping daily production, guiding team members, and ensuring work is completed safely and accurately.

Duties include receiving shipments, packaging, making crates, helping cut parts and deburr, keeping production ready, and reading a tape measure. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/shipping a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive UPS or truck shipments and verify contents.
• Package product for UPS/FedEx and trucks; build crates as needed.
• Assist in cutting parts, deburring, and prep work for welders.
• Keep items ready for production and turn in requisitions for shipping materials.
• Read a tape measure and apply measurements accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:M-F from 7:30am to 4pm

Pay: $18-20/hr

Location: Boise

A client of Express Employment is seeking a Shipping/Receiving/Helper to join a small industrial manufacturing company. This is a hands-on position responsible for shipping daily production, assisting/guiding team members, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving UPS and/or Truck shipments, making sure all contents were received
• Packaging product for UPS/Federal Express and/or Trucks
  • You will make crates for some products to be shipped
  • You will assist in cutting parts, deburring, and prep work for the Welders
• Keeping items ready for production crew
• Turn in requisitions for shipping materials when they are low in stock
• MUST be able to read a tape measure
• Other duties as assigned
