Job summary

Our local client in Kalispell is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Assembly Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and assembly operations. You will contribute to accurate documentation and timely shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Typical duties include packaging, coordinating carrier shipments, and assisting with production tasks while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to accurately complete shipping paperwork and documentation.
• Comfortable using computers and shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Package parts, components, and assemblies for shipment with quality standards.
• Prepare and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other freight carriers.
• Work with planning and production teams to arrange overnight, next-day, and ground shipments.
• Ensure all required paperwork and documentation accompany outgoing shipments.
• Organize special packaging requirements, including crates and custom shipping materials.
• Schedule and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
• Receive incoming shipments and unpack materials promptly.
• Organize and maintain documentation received with incoming products.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report issues to carriers and management.
• Assist with incoming quality inspections from outside vendors and processors.
• Support assembly and other production duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and employee handbook guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
