Job summary

Shaw Development, LLC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to supervise and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities. This lead role emphasizes process leadership, not people, aligning with company core values and goals.

The ideal candidate will assist with shipping/receiving, maintain orderly areas, and support planning and customer service to ensure on-time deliveries. Forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively with vendors, customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities.
• Assist team members in shipping and receiving tasks.
• Maintain orderly stock, shipping and receiving areas.
• Move material to/from shipping, receiving and inventory locations.
• Review daily shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with planning and customer service to meet customer needs.
• Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments.
• Verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
