Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus; training provided.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus; training provided.
• Experience with measurement devices is required.
• Crating or carpentry experience is a plus; training provided.
• Familiarity with SDS/HazCom shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Determine method of shipment and affix shipping labels on cartons.
• Inspect shipments to ensure they meet specifications and ship on schedule.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate equipment to move shipments and deliver to storage areas.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and filing.
