CERTEX USA, LLC is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate for our warehouse team in Pittsburgh. The role focuses on maintaining shipping/receiving records, processing orders, and ensuring accurate handling of goods.

Key duties include packing, labeling, and loading shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing goods, and complying with safety policies. Occasional forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience in construction, equipment, or oil industry preferred.

CERTEX USA is seeking an experienced and dynamic Shipping and Receiving Associate to our team!

Position Overview

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible primarily for the maintenance and good order of the shipping and receiving records and work area. Responsible for the carrying out of those jobs and/or assignments set forth by the department manager. This person will administer internal procedures and reports.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties

• Pulling orders, shipping, receiving, and making deliveries
• Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents
• Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information and loaded into transporting vehicles
• Preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading
• Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records; checking for damaged goods; insuring goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment; preparing and keeping records of goods received
• May be required to operate machinery such as a forklift

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficient at math and reading
• Must be persistent, energetic, and reliable with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in the construction, equipment, or oil industry is preferred
• Must have a valid Driver license

Other Requirements

• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check

• Report to work at the designated start time
• Willing to travel to various work sites or training as required
• Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designation operations and production areas as directed
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and Supervisor with other duties as required

Education and Experience

Working Conditions, Hours, Travel

• This job operates in a warehouse environment
• This is a full-time position with standard work hours of Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• Minimal travel is expected for this position. May be required to travel for training.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to talk, hear and communicate with others
• Must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often with or without assistance.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Repetitive use of one or two hands, and fingers to grasp, move or assemble objects or using computer keyboard
• Employee may work in varied heat or cold temperatures in warehouse setting with dirt and dust.
