Job summary

Henkel in Elgin, IL is seeking a 1st shift warehouse associate to operate forklift equipment, palletize and stage shipments, and manage ERP/LOGOS data entry. The role requires 2–3 years of forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
  • Move materials from stock per approved batch numbers and stage for shipment.
  • Prepare containers for shipment (palletizing, banding, stretch wrap).
  • Record shipments and warehouse movements in LOGOS bar-coding system.
  • Understand ERP shipping procedures and inventory movement.
  • Complete paperwork for shipments to avoid penalties.

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm + OT as required

What you´ll do
  • Operates pallet jack and forklift in a safe and effective manner.
  • Remove materials from stock according to the batch numbers that have been approved and received from the QC Lab and stage for shipment as instructed.
  • Prepare containers for shipment according to customer specifications by palletizing, banding, stretch wrapping, etc.
  • Record shipments and warehouse movements using LOGOS bar-coding system.
  • Must be knowledgeable in enterprise resource planning (ERP) shipping procedures including the movement of inventories.
  • Finalizes paperwork to move and/or accompany receivables or shipments, i.e., inland bills of lading, pack slips, hazardous declaration forms, completely and accurately to avoid penalties/fines.

  • Experience using ERP warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Must comply with all rules and regulations for the shipment of Hazardous Materials in accordance with Henkel policy.

Thehourly pay range for this role is $23.00. This range reflects thegood‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects tooffer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classifiedas non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance withfederal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees inthis position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, orother forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company alsooffers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensationwill depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training,certifications, and work location.
