Job summary

IFS INDUSTRIES in Texas is seeking a hands-on Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Garland facility. You will ensure accurate, on-time processing of inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of shipping and receiving supervision experience, strong knowledge of transportation regulations, and the ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving supervision.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments, scheduling, routing, and carrier selection.
• Oversee inbound shipment receipt, inspection, and processing.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and receipts; ensure timely stocking and storage.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of shipping and receiving staff.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation; collaborate with other departments.
