Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager for a client in the south Houston, TX region. The role leads Receiving, ensuring material is verified, received, and stocked, and delegates workload to department leads and personnel.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound shipments, maintaining safety and organization, and training staff on processes. The position requires English fluency and PVF industry experience.

Qualifications

• Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• 3+ years PVF industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Receiving Department operations and ensure material is verified, received, and stocked.
• Train and supervise a team of 7–10 employees.
• Communicate with Sales, QC, and Imports to coordinate inbound shipments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and organize docking areas.
• Train staff on department work instructions and quality processes.
