Integrated Power Services in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Technician to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments and to maintain accurate records in a safe, organized environment that supports shop and field operations. Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified; experience with pallet jacks and overhead cranes preferred.
• Basic computer and tablet skills, with the ability to enter and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull items up to 70 lbs. and work occasional overtime.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Aufgaben

• Shipping: Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determine the most economical and efficient shipping method, select the appropriate container, and pack items to ensure safe delivery.
• Receiving: Receive and unload incoming materials; compare packing slips against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the shipment and process return shipments from customers as needed.
• Inspection: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or defects, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
• Documentation: Accurately complete shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips; trace lost shipments and customer claims and initiate proof of delivery.
• Inventory: Assign and maintain inventory locations in the inventory management system; enter transactions accurately using computers and tablets.
• Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and overhead cranes to load, unload, and move materials; conduct pre-use equipment inspections and report issues to the supervisor.
• Staging: Wrap, band, and stage equipment for pickup; maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shipping, receiving, and staging areas.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all departmental policies, procedures, quality objectives, and safety and environmental standards; comply with PPE requirements and report hazards.
• Support: Support warehouse and inventory audits and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
