Job summary

Avery Dennison in Ohio is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in Painesville. You will manage daily shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires forklift certification (DOT/Hazmat preferred) and experience in Oracle ERP or MS Office. You will collaborate with Customer Service and carriers to ensure on-time deliveries and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/logistics experience.
• Tow motor (forklift) certification required; DOT/Hazmat preferred.
• Computer proficiency (Oracle ERP preferred, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Freight & Dock Operations: Arrange freight pick-ups, load/unload trucks, and coordinate dock activities for incoming stock, scrap, and parcel deliveries.
• Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming raw materials, process receipts in Oracle, tag inventory, and prepare shipping documents (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices).
• Inventory Control: Perform audits, enforce FIFO procedures, and resolve stock discrepancies to maintain accurate digital and physical records.
• Collaboration: Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and carriers to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
