Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler in Mentor, Ohio, operating on a B shift from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday. You will be essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, moving raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 3+ years in manufacturing/warehouse), experience with material handling equipment, and familiarity with inventory software (MFGPro preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and utilizing inventory software (MFGPro preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods using material handling equipment across shipping, receiving, and production areas.
• Record inventory transactions in MFGPro and perform regular cycle counts to resolve discrepancies.
• Deliver supplies to production, manage rack/drum inventories, and support 5S housekeeping and recycling initiatives.

Shift:B Shift, 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F

Are you an organized, active problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? As a Material Handler, you will serve as the operational backbone of our warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, moving raw and finished materials, and keeping our production lines running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transfer raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across shipping, receiving, and production areas using material handling equipment.

Inventory Control: Complete transactions in our Inventory Management System (MFGPro), conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Operational Support: Deliver supplies to production, manage rack/drum inventories, and support 5S housekeeping and recycling initiatives.

Safety & Quality: Adhere to safety protocols, proactively report hazards, and coordinate with shift teams to optimize workflow

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.

Experience operating material handling equipment and utilizing inventory software (MFGPro preferred).

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to a safety-first mindset.

Ability to work overtime and adapt quickly to shifting daily
